Lake Washington Singers is dedicated to providing scholarships to high school vocal students. Each spring the group selects finalists from a pool of applicants. The winner of the competition receives a monetary award and the opportunity to perform during our spring concert.

Elise Vikari, our 2006 scholarship winner, is a 2010 graduate of BYU - Idaho with a Bachelor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance. She is currently attending Utah State University, studying Communication Disorder.

While at BYU - Idaho, she played the part of Dido in the summer 2009 theatrical production of Dido & Aeneas by Gianni Schicci. She performed in her Senior Voice Recital on December 11, 2010, at Snow Recital Hall on the BYU campus. Elise is from North Bend, WA, and graduated from Mt Si High School. Her voice teacher while in high school was Edie Delegans.
